If the Confidence interval ( CI) for odd ratio or relative risk includes 1 The null hypothesis is not rejected

In this case our relative risk is given as 0.66
Its C.I as 0.30 - 1.45 ( which includes 1 *)

The alternate hypothesis in this case is that one procedure is superior to the other ( in wound healing and cosmetic difference )

The null hypothesis as such would be that this is false , and neither of the two procedures is superior one to the other
