pablox1961  I would add that Chorioamnionitis (maternal fever + uterine tenderness) is usually treated with Ampicillin (to cover Listeria) & Gentamicin and is the probable cause in this case versus Postpartum Endometritis which is treated with Clindamycin + Gentamicin and is a Secondary (late) cause of postpartum hemorrhage. +3
