HELLP syndrome: Hemolysis Elevated Liver enzymes Low Platelets.

A manifestation of severe preeclampsia. Blood smear shows schistocytes. Can lead to DIC and hepatic subcapsular hematomas Ž rupture Ž severe hypotension.
